Maybe you could create a few "routes" and put them online. That is, you could link up some waypoints of an interesting route (the big house route? the ugly house route? the historical route?) and publish them online.

Inland, some folks do this at Christmas for "tacky light tours."

I just got a GPS and the nerd in me is itching to get out on the lake with it.
