Got a notice in the mail yesterday that they are planning on building a new Equality fire substation on Coosa 20.  Apparently our homeowners insurance has gone up because we don't have the required 5 mile radius to a fire station, and this is a solution to that problem.  There is already a sign up on Coosa 20 where the new station will be built.  On October 10th (tomorrow) and on October 17th there wil be a 10:am meeting to discuss the plans and requirements for building the new fire substation. The meetings will be held at the Methodist Church (educational building) on 259 (Equality)  

The letter I received did not indicate how this will be funded, so I hope that will be discussed.  Both meetings will provide the same information.
