Basic difference is the dough and amount of sugar/peaches. Here's mine (hers):
-6 cups sliced peaches (at least)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
Instead of the flour, baking powder, milk mixture for batter, might want to choose 1 or even 2 Jiffy Yellow cake mix boxes mixed as directed on the box. A little easier.
Mix peaches with sugar. Put a deep casserole dish (2 qt) in 350* oven with butter to melt.
Pour batter over melted butter in dish. Don't stir. Add sliced peaches on top, and again, don't stir.
Bake at 350* for 1 hour at least. Keep in the oven until the crust is not "Golden Brown", but leaning toward a scorched color. The darker color crust translates to lots of sticky, crunchy dough to go along with the peaches.
Maybe even add a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream?? Nah.
