And what exactly do you mean by the "coarsening"? I don't think this has anything to do with the left or right -- it's Americans themselves that have "coarsened" America. Just listen to the way people talk -- so many people can't say a whole sentence without dropping the "f" bomb. People don't have manners like they used to; they don't observe etiquette or other social mores.. heck, they wear blue jeans and shorts to funerals and weddings...
It's not the left that has coarsened America. Just look around.
