My spouse is a good man.  He and I don't always agree about things, but then we grow and learn and change.  There are only a couple of subjects that I am liberal on and I probably won't change on those.  I know I have changed my perspective now that I have been retired for 16 years - and I am more disgusted with government.  Not with the day to day people that go to work and try to do the right thing, but some of the other characters who do stupid things and as far as I'm concerned, violate the rules of being apolitical.
