We have been covered up with them at our house in B'ham but not so much at our lake place. Soneone told me that they aren't "true" Lady Bugs but some type of beetle. But BEWARE!!! These things will attach themselves to the roof of your dog's mouth, like a tick does on the skin! A friend of mine texted me a picture of a poor dog that had a mouth full and had to have the Vet remove them. I'd post the picture if I knew how. I'll try to get one of my kids to do it. Please everyone, just give your dog's mouth a quick look over to make sure none of the nasty little creatures have embedded themselves. I would think this could be quite painful for the dog!
