bigwake: you don't know just how good you have it on lake martin. the georgia lakes are controlled by the DNR and they are about as stupid as you can get, the lake levels come up and down anytime, they will flood when they shouldn't be up, the lake will all of a sudden drop and your boat could be on the bottom without warning, the errosion is just a tradegy. the water is nearly always muddy because of this. Lake Martin is controlled nearly the same all the time and you can just about bet on the time of year it changes up and down. How wonderful to be on a clean and wonderfully controlled lake. the people are great and we can't wait to get there full time. what a paradise!!!
