I believe when they were removed from the ESL, the retrictions on habitat protection were also removed. I'm not sure that area ever fell under those restrictions anyway.

Now the red cockaded is another story altogether. Luckily, there has never been a report of a red cockaded colony on Russell Lands property, only on properties immediately surrounding and bordering Russell Lands.
