As I understand it we need to take an annual flu vaccine because the flu virus mutates and last year's version will not address this year's more dominant variants. Every year the WHO, CDC, et al examine the various flu strains and changes the mix to account for what is most prevalent. But the Fauci virus shots are not really a vaccine, they are an experimental gene therapy meant to trick the body into generating antibodies. Whether that approach wears off over time or the boosters will be modified to address new variants is anyone's guess.
I am watching to see if the Novavax vaccine gets approved. It is in Phase 3 trials right now with adolescents and the results with adults have been very good so far. This is a vaccine I will take because it is a real vaccine developed using traditional approaches, not gene therapy that has never been used before. And Novavax has decided to wait for FDA approval instead of seeking an emergency use authorization. And the adverse reactions are significantly less than the Moderna and Pfizer rMNA shots......I have a hard time using the term vaccine with those.
