the British people came together as one, at least for one day, to celebrate their traditions, their loyalty and their delight in their marvelous history. We don't seem to be able to duplicate that except when we are seriously threatened and declare a war footing.
Amazing. The British Royalty no longer is openly involved in politics. They carefully control their exposure to media. They live very private lives, but, but, they still command the focus of the world for a simple wedding??
Wish the USA had such a unifying icon.
