I know if you forget your meds you wander off into other topics.  Am happy to debate gun violence with you in another thread because unlike you, I understand that this issue is the culture, not access to weapons.  But wanting to control our lives and "do something", even if it doesn't work, is a primary feature of the left...emotion over logic.
