I'm like you Steve. This is my second summer and I haven't seen a full pool year yet. But if you dig around the weather history, it won't be that way forever. Just scroll down to where we were all talking about flooding.

When I first looked at my place in late summer of '05, it was pretty close to full. I didn't even have a pier last summer so it didn't really bother me too much. But this year, built a pier, bought a boat and trying to enjoy the lake.

But still, I'd rather be here than anywhere else on earth. We went to Orange Beach a couple of weekends ago. And while we had a great time, I couldn't help but think, especially at sunset, "this is nice, but I have a great sunset view at home that I really like better." Now the fresh seafood was a different story.

I pullin for a nice, week long tropical rain storm. That 10 plus inches they are getting in Texas would be really nice around here. As for is it wrong to wish for something like that. Just remember what your grandmother told you. "Be careful what you pray for...you just might get it!"
