Once when addressing the House of Commons Benj. Disraeli was admonished by the Speaker because of his saying half of Mr. Gladstone's cabinet were asses.  His reply ''Mr Speaker I withdraw my unfortunate statement, actually half of Mr Gladstone's cabinet are not asses.''
