Whatever the material you decide, be sure to go thru the APCO Permit process. They really do enforce it, even ripping out new construction not approved.
Also, the $250 permit fee does not apply if you rebuild in the same footprint as the old seawall, even with different materials. The APCO Inspector (Chris) will verify. Permit valid for 1 year from approval.
