Subject:   Homeowners insurance

I have Alfa for my primary Birmingham home and State Farm for our lake house that we have owned since 2010.
We had a claim with the 4/2011 tornadoes in Bham and Alfa charged a 1 % deductible for a new roof since we had our cars through State Farm. I prefer State Farm , rates are pretty good , and Alfa seems to have gotten less friendly after so many 2011 claims . Just my experience .
