Our inside cat, who ventures outside on occasion, until today staying away from the outside dogs, got careless this afternoon and is now in kitty intensive care.  Looks like she may pull through, but on the way to the vet I though we'd lost her.  I think to the dogs she was a toy, but massive jaws on a 80 lb Heinz 57 can do serious damage to a nine pound cat, even if "just playing".  Thankfully it appears the back is not broken and so far there is no internal bleeding to speak of.
