I would guess this one deosn't set a precedent for the lies told about Trump on Russia collusion.  I believe that not only did they believe the lies of the Hillary campaign and DOJ, but they still believe it today despite all evidence to the contrary.  FN's mistake was having said one thing on air while saying another behind the scenes, which came out during discovery and depositions.  And the Judge did not buy their assertion that they were reporting the controversy.  The documentation (text messages, IMs, emails, etc.) indicated that some of them were saying one thing on air while claiming to believe that the fraud didn't change the outcome of the election.
