I clearly recall the H1N1 flu season where we had entire offices out of work for a week.  This virus has been nothing remotely close to that impact.  If we have one person at a time with it in one of our offices that is a lot.  The initial response to this was political and now they are drunk on power and want to prolong it with the help of the panic porn obsessed media looking for clicks and viewers.  Fortunately they also have a big assist from scientifically illiterate people like Harry and Goofy that likewise seem to thrive on the panic porn.  All this for a virus that has a 99%+ survival rate.......higher than the survival rate of the vaccinated.
