Try them yourself before you decide if they are bad. Kowaliga is good but maybe we all expected more on the menu. Harbor Docks has always been great to me. Chucks is a good time but not truely a restaurant. Springhouse ($$$) and Catherines are off the water but they have a service to transport you by golfcart to them from their docks. I don't live on the Dadeville side but I'm not sure there are waterfront eating places there. But close to the water you have a number of choices.

As always the best waterfront dining is at your lake place with good friends and drink. :-)
