You obviously do not understand that many (perhaps most) of us simply are not interested in being around people with loaded guns. Statistics (FACTS) show that far more people die accidentally or from suicide from loaded guns than die in mass shootings. I believe it is almost certain that one is less safe in a bar full of a bunch folks boozing it up while carrying loaded guns than in a similar situation without gun toters, loaded or otherwise. I don't have the stats to prove it at my finger tips but I am sure they are out there. It is fact that the vast majority of bar owners in areas of the country where open or concealed carry in bars is allowed still choose to prohibit guns on their property! That should tell us something.
A couple of years ago there was a lot of discussion of concealed carry in the Tallahassee Newspaper. On the editorial page where readers are invited to make pithy and usually humorous comments someone submitted ''no one seemed the least bit concerned that I was carrying a concealed and loaded Glock in the Publix yesterday''. The next addition had the reply ''If I had known the nut next to me had a loaded gun I would have been very concerned!'' You mat disagree, but that is the sentiment held by many millions of us!
