I completely understand how you feel. I paid my way through college, working a full time job. I was fortunate not to have to take loans, but my feeling is that if I paid my way though, I don't know why these other people think they should get a free ride. So many of these students end up with degrees that are useless in terms of finding a career. A lot of them went to grad school and used their loans for living expenses and got useless degrees.
And many of the students that have loans, but actually studied something useful, get their loans paid off by their employers, so they don't need taxpayers to pay for their debt.
It reminds me of those people that put their keys in the door and defaulted on their loans when the housing market dropped.
