We've been all over the lake and there are a number of great spots. The Dadeville (Sandy Creek) area is very nice, very clean water and nice sandy bottom. There seems to be a bit more lot footage to the property there as opposed to, say the south part of the lake. $$ wise, I don't think that you will find one part of the lake being less expensive that another. When we were looking last year, we did see quite a few "fixer uppers" in teh Jackson Gap area. Hope this helps some.
