I understand his point and am just telling y'all what I believe, which clearly could be wrong. As for the 81M votes in the bank, millions of those are meaningless. Running it up in states like CA, NY, IL, etc. are not what matters in deciding the election. What matters is the 44,000 votes in states like WI, GA, etc. that determined the end result in 2020.
My belief is that DeSantis has a better chance of getting those votes than Trump does. Trump, for all his many talents, creates a very strong reaction in the portion of the electorate that could make or break those key votes (Independents, college educated women, Asians, Hispanics and blacks). And while I have no doubt the left will loathe DeSantis as much, or maybe more than Trump, I don't care about them. They are going to froth at the mouth, lie, cheat and do whatever they can to defeat any GOP candidate. But I do care about persuadable voters in key states that could make the difference and give the GOP candidate the votes to overcome the margin of fraud. I simply believe today that DeSantis has a better chance of doing that than Trump. I also believe that those totally dedicated to Trump need to support whoever the nominee is. I also believe that Trump should come out and say the following, "I will not go third party and I will strongly support whoever is the nominee." He won't, but he should.
