I work nights in Auburn but have been getting all kinds of info. We live off Centerport near Chucks... My wife and mother were in mom's basement til 10:15 as that is when the Tornado WATCH was til. Severe weather threat til 11.
Power was out but is back on.
Stillwaters was hit by a tornado.
Dadeville has suffered heavy damage.
63 closed due to fallen power lines.
I'm told many trees down on 50 between Walnut Hill and Girls Ranch.

Wednesday's storms have not spared Central Alabama.
There is confirmation of damage from a likely a tornado in Elmore County. The confirmation is coming from the county EMA. There's no word yet on injuries. There is damage being reported in the Santuck and Eclectic areas.
A volunteer fire firefighter tells WSFA 12 News there are reports of a person trapped inside a home near Nero Rock Road. The Santuck Volunteer Fire Department is surrounded by downed trees.
Lake Martin has suffered a significant amount of damage. Highway 63 is closed with trees down and powerlines in the road. There are reports of heavy damage to the harbor but visibility is very limited.
The librarian at the White Hall library in Lowndes County says the roof to the public library has been ripped off the building.
TORNADO WARNINGS and possible tornadoes are becoming a greater possibility.
Numerous large, long track tornadoes have slammed Alabama today and at least a dozen people have been killed. There are also numerous injuries and reports of property damage.
