While this is a worthy cause, I have to wonder if it's not coming a few weeks too soon, since way too much island trash is there because of messy campers, and many of those same messy campers will be using those same spots on Labor Day weekend.

In fact some if them might be using those spots while the clean-up is going on. Will those islands and spots be ignored, or will the clean-up crews invade their campsites and create some lean spots that the campers will fill with trash before the break camp?
