Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) praised the nominee Tuesday, calling him an "outstanding choice" to join Trump's Cabinet.

"He realized the mistake," he told reporters. "He fixed it."

Puzder admitted Monday that he had previously employed an undocumented immigrant.

“My wife and I employed a housekeeper for a few years, during which I was unaware that she was not legally permitted to work in the U.S.,” he said in a Monday statement first reported by the Huffington Post."

He did not know she was illegal He wa able to avoid social security tax and withholding so it was all about saving money. He was unaware cause he either never asked or didn't care. 

Have to wonder how many onsevatives in congress employ illegals???????????
