It should be nice and quiet the week after the 4th. I believe Alabama requires you to have your permit from your home state for boating = whatever they require. Stop in a Marina when you get here and they will give you all the info you need. Also , don't forget to clean out your bildge well before you arrive so we don't get any weird critters or invasive aquatic plants from Lake Pontchartrain. Thanks.
