Do yourself a favor>>> Take your boat to a mechanic and let them check it out for you-- You have been talking to CAT, so let him have a looksee. He knows horsepower and ratios. Something is definitely wrong- You said the motor runs fine, but if it is, then prop slippage might be your answer. MY 2 cents worth.
