Apparently the nuclear treaty that they have been hanging their hats on is about to expire in a few months.  So today, Trump put NATO on notice that he expects them to get involved and negotiate a new treaty with teeth.  And he did it in the context of being willing to negotiate with Iran.  I liked the way he did that.
