Have an older Sea Doo (2001) that has one and only one consistent problem.  At the beginning of each year, you hop on to ride and it will stall as it gains RPM's.  Three consecutive years, I have taken it at the first of the year and the carburetor was rebuilt.  This year the local repair guy at LM even cleaned out my fuel tank.  I thought I just did a bad job of winterizing it.  Now this summer I had surgery which caused the Sea Doo to sit since Memorial Day.  My son hopped on it again today, and the same problem.  As soon as the RPM's start to climb, the motor stalls.  Took it back to the guy who already got $$$$ off of me for a rebuilt carburetor ($$$) and then the fuel tank clean out and rebuilt carburetor a week later  ($$$).  Now his solution is to change out the fuel lines and rebuild the carburetor for a nice sum of money.

I fully believe that the ethanol is gumming up the fuel lines and causing the problem.  However, I am hesitant to take it back to the same guy who I think has basically raped me rebuilding carburetors and not solving the problem.  Big problem is with no trailer for the PWC, I am somewhat committed to the local guys that can get it from the lake.

Do you guys think the fuel lines would be the likely cause?  Who would you recommend for the repair?  BTW, Cat has handled my boat great and I'd take it to him except for the trailer problem.
