With regard to my kids it is probably a little of both but we definitely worked hard and there was a heavy price for using foul language. Can't say that I had as good an upbringing but my Dad was in the military so salty language was a little more common in our house unfortunately. At this point in my life I actually wince when I hear strong profanity. It just bugs me and I can't tell you how many prominent people I know in business and politics that drop the f word like its nothing. Always amazes me.
