I can't prove it, but I think somebody siphoned my pontoon boat at Stemly Bridge. But since the boat isn't running worth a flip and I think most of the gas was water anyway, they probably did me a favor. A couple of years ago, somebody swam up and tried to steal gas from it. My son caught them. In broad daylight!

On a related note, folks down on Martin have been stealing gas and filling gas tanks with water so people don't notice right away. They see the gauge shows full and they don't think about it till the boat won't run. There might be a thread about it on the boat maintenance forum.
