Hound, as I point out below this is just like the Jack Smith indictment...it all revolves around Trump's state of mind. The only way this might be construed as a criminal act is if Trump actually believed he lost GA....something that could never be proved but any reasonable person would agree is exceedingly unlikely. If Trump truly believed there were more than 11,700 fraudulent ballots then him asking Raffensberger to investigate and find those ballots was entirely reasonable. That is how bad this indictment is.
Another pathetic part is the alternate electors. This was explained clearly by Meadows at the time. They were challenging the results of the election in real time and had alternate electors ready to be certified. He stated this as the reason for the alternate slate and this is not unprecedented. It also makes sense to have them ready to be certified in case the results were overturned. The rest of the evidence is a complete joke.
Not that I don't think he can be convicted in Fulton County although it is less certain than DC. But he will win on appeal, mostly on First Amendment grounds.
