It has little to do with the minimum wage or the working poor. It is all about UNIONS. Union contracts are written with the wages set as a factor of the minimum wage I.e., union food workers may get 1.5 x minimum wage and auto workers 2.5 x minimum wage. So when the minimum wage goes up SK do all union wages. I just made up these factors. I don't know what they are set at these days but that is how the left works. When they show you one hand you have to look behind their back to see what they are not showing you. Its a shell game. They get to pretend to care about poor folks all the while paying off the unions.
