let's say Al Gore was president.



Even though the Muslims do not like the western ways, would we be picked on as much if GORE was president?


Now, I don't mean Democrat/Republican. I am talking name recognition. Do you think the name BUSH carries a message to the world more than GORE? Or anyone else, for that matter. Is BUSH (#1 and #2) identified with something the world perceives that is/isn't there?

I read somewhere when #2 Bush became president that he knew about a plot where Saddam tried to "take out" his dad at some point where his wife Laura was in attendance. Is this revenge? Is this a "Bush" mentality? Is it personal?

That's what I am asking? Personal. Are his decisions involving family ties, business associations involvement, never having gone to war (I am not promoting Gore where he was a journalist? I don't remember...but he didn't see action either.) as his point of reference?

Sometimes I just see Bush's decisions as REACTIONS and not ACTION. And I question his patience and judgement. To me it's like he shoots from the hip.

I don't have any favorite running for president. So don't question my intentions. I am seeking information from you guys as to how perception is reality. (we know it's not, but to others', is it?)
