Agree, agree, and agree. I tell anyone that will listen that in season, blend degrades to the point of noticeable performance difference in less than 4 weeks. Anyone running a boat with big tanks should keep that in mind. Had a 28' Chapparel. Took it from winter storage, had it detailed, and filled it up on shore, with blended premium, before I splashed it. Did some light riding first few weeks in April, then skipped a few. Still had 1/2 tank just before Memorial Day. Big plans, took it out for shakedown, that beast struggled to get up on plane. Realized what I did, burned it off to near empty, filled up at Harbor Pointe, and she acted as she should. That was before I didn't know what I didn't know. Ethanol subsidies ended 12/31 and as far as I know, thankfully, have not been renewed. That is why we saw the $.07-.10 price jump the first week in January.
