I think he should resign.  He must think we are pretty stupid to believe, after hearing his sweet nothings to his sweetie, that it was not a physical affair.  And then, in his apology, of course he has to drag God into it.  As though that makes it all better. 

I go back to what I always say - those that profess their religion in the loudest voices, are usually the ones you need to watch out for. 

I don't care that he had an affair - that is between him, his wife and the other woman.  But when presented with a Kangaroo, don't proclaim it to be an elephant and demand everyone to believe you.
