Yeah, my deck at home is Trex and it does get hot.  We have carpet that we lay on top of the floating dock which also gets pretty hot.  We deventually decided to just lay the Trex over the existing decking to prevent it from sagging since the support beams are 2' on center rather than the recommended 16 inches.
