I thought the rule was 50' of shoreline.
In Stoneview's case they were permitted such docks and the boardwalk (that was a mistake back then, as the total footage should not have allowed the boardwalk also).  They did install 30 of the 85  docks. Permit expired. Had to get a new permit. This permit required removal of the boardwalk, and shortened docks from 1/3 across slough to current standard of 1/4 way.
Rather amusing to me how it was ok to get your assoc docks,  but now it is just too much.
As I understand No Wake, there has to be a general boating public safety need to get a No Wake zone.  It is not to protect the boats in someones dock.
