I was being sarcastic about the failure. (I've noticed that sarcasm is not particularly effective on this forum.) My point was that NO ONE knows for sure what we are going to face in the coming months, so I would really like to see us hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. I do wonder, though, if it's a simple plumbing exercise, why the team of experts? Why the national news coverage? Since it hit the national news, folks from all over the country are calling me up and asking me what the heck is going on. If it's not a biggie, then why does the governor sound so desperate?
