All that has been proven so far is BO CAN get, and was, elected. Can he and his Hollywood and millionnaire buddies fix the economy? Remains to be seen. After all, these folks - like the rest of America - profited from the same economy until recently like pretty much everyone else. What sets them apart is they have loads of extra money to weather the tough times. BO has already moved toward the center on a lot of his views, and he will quickly learn that the US isn't going to allow some of his liberal agenda to go forward.

I truly hope he can improve things, but without promoting some of the liberal stuff. Moreso, I hope he has the good sense to recognize that the Bush policies kept America safe over the last7+ years, and I pray he continues to do so for us. To me, it is a good sign that he has backed off most of the left-wing stuff he got elected on and is now explaining that was 'campaign rhetoric'.
