While there may be some parts of Ryan's plan that are a bit severe, he had the courage to put a plan out there that could go a long way toward restoring fiscal sanity to Washington, unlike Obama's absolutely pitiful excuse for a plan. And Ryan stated up front that there was significant political risk in doing so...but he still had the palls to do it anyway. Political courage is something we need a lot more of in DC.
