If you wonder if the Iran deal is bad or wonderful, think about this: One of the biggest complaints about these agreements is that most of them contain nothing enforcable. No "teeth". What Kerry negotiated was a framework agreement, and then it is left to the minions to fill in the details. Now these State Department weinies are not going to go back to their boss and tell him that the agreement is unenforcable. So in the course of the negotiation they will try to get the best that they can. American negotiators are notoriously bad, because our cultural bias is to always be positive and to compromise in order to get an agreement. No doubt the Iranians knew this - they have been trading and negotiating for hundreds of years. They don't care if they are liked, and they don't compromise unless they want to. It's the sad truth, but anyone who has worked in international business or government, knows that these agreements aren't the worth the paper they are written on. Of course Obama wants to tout the agreement - he sees it as an accomplsihment of his Administration. He's worried about his legacy.
