Why are we debating each other on protecting our anonymity as a screen for incivility? ALL YOU HAVE is your name. If you hide it, you abdicate it.

Do not say anything on this forum you would not say to another participant’s face. Then, there would be no question of sincerity.

If you are not winning a debate… concede the issue at debate. Do not debase yourself before the others.

The crux of science is that some other scientist might come along and destroy your thesis by bringing a proof of his thesis that you and other scientists can replicate. It is the curse of the AGWs that they cannot defend their thesis before real scientists.

BUT, I assure that you would be summarily dismissed from a thesis defensive if your actions or comments became derisive.

There is NO excuse for misbehavior during debate. NONE! If one cannot maintain self-discipline, then one should excuse themselves to avoid embarrassment.

There is much honor in growing old. There is no honor in resting upon it as an excuse for uncivil behavior.

The man should give himself space… however little of it remains… to rejoin our camaraderie as a respected participant. He is not required to be an intellectual; he is only required to be wise. If he wrote nothing but “yes” or “no”, we would ponder his response and our own theses.
