Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is not science. If it were it would pass public peer review by the scientific community. (At this point is can't even pass the public smell test.) Global warming is a theory unsubstantiated by fact, history, or high school chemistry and physics.
How do I know this? The weather prediction has NOT been correct with respect to temperature or precipitation over the last 10 days. If you go to www.weatherunderground.com, put in your zip code, go to the scientific discussion at the bottom of the ten day forecast, and READ (not speed-read) the meteorologist's discussion, most of the times he says that, "... the models don't agree". How can we predict the weather in 100 years, when we can't predict the weather in 10 days?
The last time I bothered to read about AGW, I saw that there were 109 models for global warming... and none of them agreed... all over the place.
On the other hand, GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE is a FACT substantiated by hard evidence and history, (and high school chemistry and physics). This has been happening CYCLICALLY for hundreds of millions of years (since the introduction of water to the atmosphere). Oceans and ice transgressed and regressed to make bays and valleys. The Delmarva peninsula and Chesapeake Bay have disappeared and reappeared more than once. Fluctuations in insolation (incoming solar radiation)are the primary culprit. Global climate change does not violate any of the tenants of physics or chemistry and is well in line with the Theory of Uniformitarianism (Google that).
As for Ardi... she probably moved on when the tide came in too far... or it got too hot. The wooly mammoth did not.
