Subject:   "fogging" my engine
Date:   10/27/2009 12:53:28 PM

Every year when I winterize my boat I "fog" the engine by bringing the rpms up to about 1800 and spraying the carb throat until the engine chokes off. I then remove the plugs, spray each combustion chamber and install a fresh spark plug. My question, is it neccessary to run the engine during this process?
