The Fall and winter do have their own kind of feel to them. There is a peacefulness that is different than the season. But, having said that, I'm sorry to see Christopher's go. We probably would have gone more often if it was located on our side of the lake (Parker Creek). For the quality of what they are serving, I don't think their prices were bad -- but then, when you look at the places that survive, you can see what the locals are willing to support. I'm not thrilled with Springhouse. The food is underwhelming and it's got more pretentions than I think it needs to have.
