Questions

1. How many families lose their house because of a child with a broken leg?

2. How many families without insurance go bankrupt because of surgery for Tonsillectomy's, appendectomies, pregnancies, etc. One of our children is an Ob-Gyn and he deliveries a lot of babies for families without insurance. Medicaid is the provider. His pay rate is close to nil when he deliveries these children. The mother gets the same care as a mother with insurance.

3. Since when has a family with a child with leukemia without insurance paid all the hospital cost at St. Jude? The major cost to the family is the transportation cost back and forth and meals. This occurs even with medical insurance. Housing is furnished when extended stay is required.

This video is so ridiculous that it barely deserves comments.
