"FORT WORTH, Texas — The military plans a mental evaluation to determine whether the Army psychiatrist charged with killing 13 people at Fort Hood knew his alleged actions were wrong and whether he's competent to stand trial, his civilian attorney said Tuesday." (AP on FOX News)

I hope that this is immediately followed by interogation. The Army has, convened an Article 32 (much like a grand jury). In addition to 13 counts of muder, in my opinion, he should be also charged under the following Punitive Articles of the UCMJ:

§ 881. Art. 81. Conspiracy
§ 883. Art. 83. Fraudulent enlistment, appointment, or separation
§ 888. Art. 88. Contempt toward officials
§ 893. Art. 93. Cruelty and maltreatment
§ 894. Art. 94. Mutiny or sedition
§ 904. Art. 104. Aiding the enemy (He has already been lionized by the enemy. On his death, he will be named a martyr.)
§ 906. Art. 106. Spies (hmmm... maybe)
§ 906a. Art. 106a. Espionage (maybe)
§ 907. Art. 107. False official statements
§ 908. Art. 108. Military property of United States - Loss, damage, destruction, or wrongful disposition
§ 916. Art. 116. Riot or breach of peace
§ 917. Art. 117. Provoking speeches or gestures
§ 918. Art. 118. Murder (13 counts – we have been informed that this has happened)
§ 924. Art. 124. Maiming (24 counts)
§ 928. Art. 128. Assault (24 counts)
§ 933. Art. 133. Conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman

Of course we have only the media to inform us of his deeds.
