One option is to do nothing.

Consider the little sand crabs (Ocypode quadrata) of the seashore. The mindless little creatures live in burrows just inshore of the breaking waves. They make burrows and scurry about scavenging for food. When a flood tide… especially a spring tide… transgresses the shore, the little crabs move inland. When the neaps come, they move seaward… following the cyclical regression.

Are we humans so stupid that we cannot simply plan to move if the ocean rises 18 to 20 inches?

All other consequences of “global warming” are positive… improved agriculture, increased supply of fresh water, reduction in requirements for fossil fuels.

As I have written in earlier posts, I do agree that the global climate is changing as it always has. I’d prefer warming over cooling. Please, let me see the raw data. I Don’t need your computer code... I know how to do that myself (in FORTRAN if you like). When I get done, let’s debate.
